One of my absolute favorite times for outdoor family sessions is during the heart of the winter season.

But, let’s face it, winter can be super hard to plan a session around; It can be cold and wet – and trying to do anything with gloves on is seemingly impossible.  So, why would anyone even want to try to do an outdoor session in the winter?

The simple answer… Because the artwork created during these sessions is downright magical!  Whether there is holiday decor in the background or a fresh blanket of white snow, you’re going to love the uniquely clean look winter photography.

The gallery of images shown here was shot on a super cold day, but we managed to stay warm and have a great time.  The final images are ones the Prchal family will cherish for years to come!
